Lion Red Man Points On Pack Promotion – Full Terms & Conditions


1.    Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Entry is open to residents of New Zealand who are 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

2.    To enter, purchase any marked promotional pack of Lion Red 12, 15, 18 or 24 bottles and collect the marked caps. To enter the draw for one of the four major prizes, you must:

a) collect the appropriate amount of Man Points in caps to be eligible for the prize you want to win. Caps come in denominations of 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, -7500 and -15000 Man Points;

b) complete the entry form on the under side of these packs and tick which prize you want to go in the draw to win; and

c) post you entry form with the correct amount of caps to Private Bag 94309, Pakuranga 2140, Auckland.

3.    Promotion commences 01/03/11.  All major prize entries close on 31/05/11. No entries will be accepted after this time. 

4.    There is one Bluefin fishing prize to be won (“Fishing Prize”) (15000 Man Points required)  The Fishing Prize consists of a 4 day trip (two days fishing) for the winner and a friend with Matt Watson and the ITM Fishing Show crew on the West Coast of the South Island. Trip includes all travel costs, four nights accommodation (3 x motel, 1 x boat), and all meals for the winner and friend. The Fishing Prize will also include a 36 hour fishing expedition hunting Bluefin Tuna. In support of sustainable fishing, only one fish may be landed and kept. All other fish will be tagged and released unharmed (where possible). Exact fishing activity may differ due to weather and sea conditions. All fishing equipment required for the prize will be provided.  All other costs will be the responsibility of the winner. Please note, this is a physically demanding trip and participants will need to be in a fit and healthy state to undertake it.

5.    There is one V8 Bathurst prize to be won (“Bathurst Prize”) (10000 Man Points required). The Bathurst Prize consists of a 5 day trip for the winner and 3 friends. Trip includes return flights to Sydney, transport from Sydney to Bathurst, 4 nights accommodation, race tickets and spending money for the winner and 3 friends.

6.    There is one Warriors in Australia prize to be won (“Warriors Prize”) (8000 Man Points required). The Warriors Prize consists of a 3 day trip for the winner and 3 friends. The winner may choose any Warriors game between 16/06/11 and 30/08/11. Trip includes return flights to Sydney, 2 nights accommodation, game tickets and spending money for the winner and 3 friends. The winner will also get an opportunity to meet the team whilst on the trip.

7.    There is one Man-icure and day spa treatment prize to be won (“Man-icure Prize”) (-15000 Man Points required). The Man-icure Prize consists of a $400 voucher to a suitable Day Spa located as close as possible to the winner’s place of residence, to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

8.    There will be four prize draws, one for each of the Fishing Prize, Bathurst Prize, Warriors Prize and Man-icure Prize which will all take place on 10/06/11. The first correct entry randomly drawn for each prize will win the respective prize. The winners will be notified by phone on 10/06/10. The Promoter may draw reserve winners for each prize. Prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash. The judge’s decisions are final and binding – no correspondence will be entered into.

9.    Before the prize is awarded, the winner and any person sharing the prize with the winner may be required to sign further legal documentation as and in the form reasonably required by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form and documentation required to conduct a Police Check. If the winner or any person sharing the prize with the winner does not agree to and sign the further legal documentation required by this clause 8, or if the winner or any person sharing the prize with the winner fails a Police check (i.e. has a criminal record) or if the winner is otherwise unable to accept their status as winner, their selection as a winner (or participant) will be forfeited and an alternative winner may be selected provided sufficient time remains, in the Promoter’s sole discretion. The Promoter reserves the right to make the final decision as to who participates in the prize.

10.  The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. Entries will be deemed void if stolen, forged, or tampered with in any way.

11.  In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.  The prize is subject to any other third party supplier’s terms and conditions, and the Promoter and its related bodies corporate are not responsible for any direct or indirect loss suffered by any entrant as a direct result of the conduct of these companies. 

12.  Subject to any applicable law that cannot be excluded, the Promoter and its related bodies corporate, shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the promotion or any prize.

13.  Details collected will only be used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing or conducting the promotion) and for publicity purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion, entrants consent to the use of their information as described. All entries will be destroyed after the promotion.
